Good news: the Interreg North-West Europe (NWE) Monitoring Committee has officially approved Offshore Proof for funding! 🎉
With this project, we are taking a big step forward in advancing innovative Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE). Together with our partners, we are building a network of accredited offshore test sites in North-West Europe. This will make the testing of new technologies faster, cheaper, and globally recognised.
What will Offshore Proof achieve?
✅ Test sites in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany where ORE technology can be tested more quickly and reliably.
✅ Lower costs and reduced risks for developers, investors, and regulators, thanks to standardised protocols aligned with IEC standards.
✅ Increased collaboration through Communities of Practice (CoPs) – so that together we build trust in new energy and multi-use projects.
✅ Lasting impact through training and knowledge sharing.
Who are the partners in this project?
