On Monday 8 September, Campus@Sea hosted the Innovation & Development workshop – an important step in the implementation of the Scheveningen Port Vision. The meeting, organised in collaboration with the municipality of The Hague, was a great success.
With a large and diverse group of attendees from the business community, government, knowledge institutions and the maritime sector, there was plenty of interaction at the various theme tables. Ideas and opportunities were exchanged and valuable discussions arose about collaboration, business space and the role of field labs and community in the port ecosystem.
The afternoon also featured inspiring contributions from Campus@Sea, SeaSEC and Weco, which together demonstrated how Scheveningen is developing into a breeding ground for maritime innovation in the blue economy.
The energy and commitment during this workshop confirm that Scheveningen is on the eve of a transformation. Together, we are working on a port where people can work, learn and innovate.
We look back on a valuable and inspiring start to the Innovation & Development implementation programme – and, above all, forward to the next steps we will take together.
